Sensex tumbles 509.47 points and Nifty slips 154.50 points from respective intraday highs

Indian Market opened higher on and continued to trade in positive till later half of the trade, after that market reacted sharply and swings to negative on the concerns about weaking Indian and world Economy, political uncertainty due to ongoing state elections, lower levels in all Asian market except Shanghai index and concern over weak opening in US market on evening by lower trading in US futures of nearly a cut of 1% on 2 PM and weak and sideways trading in European exchanges.  Indian broushers key index Sensex and Nifty closed negative for sixth consecutive day on daily closing basis. In morning trade, sensex opened 33.47 points, at 8,970.67. But due to profit booking and fund selling it slipped to red and ended its day in Concern.  Sensex ended the day with a loss of 163.42 points, or 1.83% at 8,773.78 after touching a high of 9,236.27 and a low of 8,726.80. The broad-based NSE Nifty shuts its screen with 48.15 points in red, or 1.79% at 2,635.00 after hitting a high of 2,772.40 and a low of 2,617.90 . BSE Midcap and Smallcap index fell 2.02% and 1.84% respectively.

Sectorial : All sectoral indices ended in red barring three FMCG, Auto and Consumer Durables ( CD )indices, which gained 1.52% , 0.59% and 0.44%. Capital Goods index and Bankex were the top losers, down 3.47% and 2.86% respectively. On stocks front JP Associate and Hindalco were the top losers shedding 1.83% and 5.19% among sensex stocks, while ITC and Ranbaxy gained 2.8% and 1.9% respectively.
 
Asian Markets :   Barring Shanghai, all other Asian markets closed in red. Japan Key index Nikkei 225 slumps 55.19 points and closed at 8273.22 , HongKong's Hang Sang closed down 100.09 points at 12815.80.

European Markets : Euro Markets take the worst hit today, all were down by 4-5% on closing. FTSE closed down 202.87 points at 4005.68 , DAX slumps 225.38 points at 4354.09 , CAC40 shuts its screen on negative with 129.51 points down at 3087.89.

Crude and INR : Nymex crude touched a fresh 22 month low of $ 53.30. Rupee touched an intraday low of 50.01 against the dollar and closed at 49.66/67 .
