Flat Closing || Realty and Banks Slumps || Auto Shines

It was a mixed bag for Indian market with a limited risk. Markets started its day in negative zone with a fall of 74.68 points, at 8,840.53. Later market inched higher and traded in positive. Again key benchmrak indices slumped to days low in mid-afternoon trade on fresh selling in index pivotals like Realty and Banking stocks. It ended flat after a choppy session. The benchmark index Sensex ended the day with a loss of 12.09 points, or 0.14% at 8,903.12 after touching a high of 9,042.02 and a low of 8,701.93. The broad-based NSE Nifty gained 14.80 points, or 0.55% at 2,708.25 after hitting a high of 2,740.35 and a low of 2,633.80. BSE Midcap and Smallcap index lost 0.49% and 0.79% respectively.

Sectoral : This was  a mixed day for Sectoral out of 14 sector based indices on BSE , 9 closed in green and 4 closed in negative bias. Among gainers BSE power and Oil & Gas indices gained 1.94% and 1.37% respectively, becoming the top gainers among the sectoral indices, while Realty and Bankex lost 3.78% and 3.14% respectively. Satyam and ICICI Bank were the top loosers among sensex stocks, down 4.6% and 3.9% respectively, while Reliance Infra and Maruti gained 4% and 3.6% respectively.

Asian Markets : It was not a good day for Asian indicies, all major index closed in red except India's NSE Nifty.  Key index of Asia Nikkei didnt opened due to trading holiday their. Hang Sang tumbles 201.26 points at  12457.94 . Shanghai closed its day with a negative tune of 72.32 points at 1897.06 . Straits Times also closed in neagive with a fall of 41.81 points at 1620.29 . All Asian market closed in negative zone despite the news of Citi Group financial aid of  306 billion loan and USD 20 billion cash  guarantee from US government.



European Markets :  Euro markets trading in deep green washing its cracks of Friday that was made by negative closing. Markets were delighted on news of Citi Group Bailout package by US goverment and also on intrest of HSBC bank on buying Citi Assets. As per data based 9:00 PM ( IST ) London based FTSE 100 index trading in green with 236.33 points at 4017.29 . France based CAC40 trading at 3058.77 with a gain of 177.51 points. German DAX trading in green with a gain of 228.43 points at 4355.84 .
