Ranbaxy Labs : India Leading drug manufacturer and exporter announced its result, it declared loss for the quarter ended September 2008.
During the quarter, the company reported loss of Rs 3,529.30 million compared with a profit of Rs 1,681.60 million in the same quarter, last year.Net sales for the quarter rose 9.12% to Rs 11,328.18 million, while total income for the quarter fell marginally 0.46% to Rs 11,480.95 million, when compared with the prior year period.
The company posted loss of Rs 9.44 a share during the quarter compared with earnings of Rs 4.51 a share in prior year period.
